Artificial Intelligence has the potential to assist organisations deliver superior products and services to their customers. However the technology will be largely adopted only when the cost of leveraging AI “approaches zero”.
AI is fast becoming a necessity in corporate world and organisations are increasingly adopting AI to solve long standing issues within their industry. Having said that, different organisations have different approaches to utilize the power of AI for their business and all organisation don’t have to innovate at the same pace to gain an edge over their competition.
The ideal time for an organisation to adopt a new technology would be when the cost of implementation reaches nearly zero. Adoption of Cloud computing is an example of a technology that is virtually free and widely adopted these days.
Machine Learning and AI as a technology are yet to reach that point economically which cloud computing has surpassed but AI provides competitive edge over their competition.
